This year we will be participating in the Best Buddies Friendship Walk with Tooth Tales on April 23, 2016, and invite you to join us! Best Buddies is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The proceeds from the upcoming Walk will be dedicated to local Best Buddies programs, where friendship matches are made, employees with special needs are matched in meaningful employment and deeper awareness is spread promoting the inclusion and acceptance of individuals with IDD in our community.
We chose to participate in this event because we believe in the mission of Best Buddies and know the funds raised will directly affect the lives of those living with IDD. We are working to help raise $1,000 and I'm hoping to count on your support to achieve this goal with a donation! Here’s how you can help:
1) Please consider making a donation to Best Buddies by visiting our personal fundraising webpage here: https://bestbuddiesfriendshipwalk.org/southflorida/supporting/#ToothTales
2) Join our team and help fundraise by registering for the South Florida Walk and start your own fundraising efforts for this great cause!
Your donations are tax deductible! Every little bit counts and with each dollar you donate, you bring me one more mile closer to my fundraising goal.
