Dr. Adam Lau was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica and practices dentistry with the happy and fun-loving attitude of the Caribbean culture. You can always find him smiling and laughing with his patients and dental team. Dr. Lau’s compassionate and caring personality will instantly let you know that you’re a part of his family. He takes great pride in patient education and will make sure that you are always fully informed about your dental procedures. He is always open to questions, especially since he may be the first Chinese Jamaican dentist you’ve met!
He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Florida and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at LECOM School of Dental Medicine.
Growing up in a third world country, Dr. Lau takes great pride in giving back to his community. He is a part of many organizations such as Florida Mission of Mercy (FLAMOM), Give Kids a Smile (GKAS) and Florida Remote Area Medical (R.A.M), where he treats adults and children in under served areas that cannot afford dental care.
When Dr. Lau is not in the office, he will be spending time with his family and friends. He believes in a healthy lifestyle and tries to stay active by going to the gym, playing sports such as golf and soccer and maybe the occasional marathon.
