Meet Dr. Adriana Echenagucia

Dr. Adriana Echenagucia (Dr. E), born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, received her degree in Dentistry from University Santa Maria in 2007 and, in 2010, earned a Post-Doctorate Certificate in Endodontics in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She worked for four (4) years in a private practice in Caracas as a specialist in Endodontics before moving to the United States.

After arriving to South Florida in 2014, Dr. E completed two (2) additional years of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Larkin Community Hospital in Coral Gables, becoming an ADA-Licensed Dentist in 2016.  While she is skilled in performing root canal treatments, her clinical experience also includes surgical extractions, fixed and removable prosthodontics, implant restorations, and restorative and cosmetic work.

She is a member in good standing of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.  Her continuing education consists of Nitrous Oxide Sedation and Oral Analgesia, Externship in Implant Surgical protocols, Apical Microsurgery, and non-surgical endodontic re-treatments, just to name a few. Every year, she makes it her goal to participate in continuing education training that allows her to be on top of new developments and technologies in the dental field.

Dr. Echenagucia sees participation in community events as a rewarding experience because of her desire to help others.  She always remembers "a great experience", a program that provided basic dental care to the Indians in the Amazon jungle.

Dr. E’s cheerful and caring personality, compassionate attitude, and her contagious laughter puts patients at ease and gains their trust. She takes the time to explain complex procedures into simple language and communicates with the patient, during every step, to ensure that they are comfortable and pain free.

Dr. Echenagucia is a newlywed and lives in Brickell, Miami. She is into nutrition and exercising as a way of life and enjoys traveling, reading, and kitesurfing.  She is a member of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) to help stop animal abuse and neglect.
